Off The Beaten Track Interviews:

Off The Beaten Track Interviews: ’Til Tuesday - 1988

’Til Tuesday profile coming soon.

This interview is with Aimee Mann and Michael Hausman of ’Til Tuesday, recorded on November 12, 1988 at The Rat (Rathskeller), Kenmore Square in Boston, Massachusetts. There were noises in the background of this interview that were unavoidable, as space at The Rat is limited (and sometimes chaotic). The room used was part utility room, part office. Many thanks to the staff at The Rat for their patience at 2 o’clock in the morning! This interview was coordinated by the publicity folks at Epic Records in New York, in conjunction with Paul Rains & Associates in Los Angeles.

Off The Beaten Track Interviews: Treat Her Right - 1988

Treat Her Right profile coming soon.

This interview was recorded in 1988 at the legendary art house cinema Brattle Theatre in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is a public space and as such, there is  significant location noise during the course of the interview. RCA Records publicist Deb Radel helped coordinate this interview.

Off The Beaten Track Interviews: Lucie Blue Tremblay - 1988

Lucy Blue Tremblay is a singer-songwriter from Quebec. Born in Montreal (1958), Lucie now lives in Paradise. You may laugh...Paradise is a town in Nova Scotia (not that all of Nova Scotia isn't paradise), close by The Bay of Fundy.

Her mom had a band, so Lucie started young! In the 1980s, Lucie Blue Tremblay had quite a following...and it was quite loyal. As her performing career grew, upstart record label Olivia Records took notice. Lucie had been doing some shows with Ferron, the Toronto-born singer-songwriter, and that certainly helped Lucie reach more people.

This profile will be expanded at a future date.
